Apple jelly

Makes: ⅔ cup; 2 serves of jelly

Makes: approximately 750mL
Ingredients:
1 cup clear apple juice2 teaspoons powdered gelatine
2 scoops EleCare®

Method:
- Pour the juice into a small saucepan and sprinkle with gelatine. When the gelatine is absorbed, place over a medium heat, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Stir in EleCare® and mix well. Rinse 2 small moulds with cold water or spray lightly with rice bran oil spray and pour in the jelly mixture. Refrigerate until set.
Notes:
- Use any fruit juice which infant accepts for these jellies. You can also use a combination of juice and fruit purée. Boil the juice with the gelatine and then combine with the fruit purée before cooling and adding EleCare®.
- Boiling the gelatine is important as it allows the added sulphur dioxide to evaporate.
